The practical driving test lasts about 42 minutes and you can take it in Launceston or Plymouth. Carkeel Driving School will book your test when you can drive on your own and have reached the standard for the manoeuvres.

From 4th October 2010 there will be a new 10 minute period of 'independent driving' and then one of the two normal reverse exersises will be omitted.

 

Test Tips. Take plenty of tuition in the driving school car and get loads of private practice. Try a mock driving test with your instructor, get used to test pressure and your confidence will increase.
